Coming soon…2010 Educational Technology Conference

The 2010 Educational Technology Conference presented by the College of Education, MACUL, and the College of Education Alumni Association will be on Saturday, November 13th at Erickson Hall on the campus of Michigan State University.  In-service teachers, pre-service interns, administrators, and technology coordinators are encourage to attend this annual event that offers information sessions and workshops covering a range of topics from Google Apps in education to professional development resources for current teachers.  As in past years, we have a featured presenter at the beginning of the day and this year we are honored to have Karl Gude from the MSU School of Journalism come talk about his use of Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and cellphones to create unique activities not only for his MSU students, but more importantly for the high school and middle school students he teaches how to visualize information for communication skills and class projects.  More information about Karl Gude can be found on the conference web site or you can watch his TEDx Lansing presentation below.
