The Educause Learning Initiative (ELI) 2009 Annual Meeting took place last month in Orlando, Florida with the title theme of “Participation and Collaboration: Social Learning for the 21st Century.” Featured sessions, concurrent sessions, faculty innovation showcases and learning circles were just some of the opportunities to learn about initiatives at institutions across North American and abroad and share ideas and challenges with peers. The meeting was also an opportunity to brainstorm and address the just released “Top Five Challenges in Teaching and Learning, 2009″, a list created by ELI members, based on the issues that dominate campus conversations. The Challenges project will be an ongoing process this year and invites input from all Educause members and non-members on the Ning network site and the newly launched Challenges wiki.
Resources from the ELI Annual Meeting, including streaming digital videos from general and featured speakers, can be found on the Meeting Resources web site.
